This author is a stage and film actress, writer of (primarily) plays and acting teacher. She studied acting at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana and has been employed as an actor with Mladinsko Theatre. She often works for Radio Slovenia’s arts programme and occasionally acts for film. Since the beginning of the nineties she has also been writing plays. She is the first female playwright to have ever received the Slavko Grum Award for Best Play (in 2007).

This is a story about a father abusing his daughter, but it is worse than that. Even those people in the story from whom actual help would be expected, such as the police inspector and the priest, both merely take advantage of their position and make profit from the helplessness of a girl driven into a state of extreme distress.
