Two young people in love pay their first visit to both partners’ parents. In the very beginning, the situation is awkward which makes the play comic. Their parents are both single. He grew up with his single mother whilst his fiancée introduces him to her widowed father. Both parents are, of course, possessive and jealous. They take in the young couple with a range of expected prejudice, which due to it being so commonly known, becomes quite funny. A number of stereotypical awkward situations culminate in a political disagreement among the left and the right, a dispute irritating everyone in Slovenia today. It already seems that everybody will end up single, but a series of mutual visits of the characters leads to a surprising twist.
